Biography

Ms. Elysse Beasley is a National Certified Counselor, Senior Psychological Examiner, Licensed Professional Counselor, and Health Service Provider. She counsels people of all ages using the latest and most accepted individual and family techniques. Ms. Beasley provides expertise in the areas of mood, anxiety, adjustment, personality, and eating disorders, as well as in disorders usually first diagnosed in childhood or adolescence. Ms. Beasley has helped individuals to help themselves to a more satisfying and rewarding life since 1991 in Rutherford and surrounding counties.

Ms. Beasley graduated from Tulane University with a Bachelor of Science degree with honors in Psychology in 1974. She holds both a Master of Arts degree in Special Education from Peabody College of Vanderbilt University and a Master of Arts degree in Clinical Psychology from Middle Tennessee State University. Her study, “Forgetting Rates of the Mentally Regarded and Non-Retarded in Memory for Objects and Memory for Faces”, was published in the Journal of Psychology.

Ms. Beasley is an Employee Assistance provider for Magellan, Cigna, Value Options, Ceridian, Aetna, Horizon Health, Anthem Blue Cross Blue Shield, United Behavioral Health, ComPsych, EAP Consultants, and Frances Roy and Associates.
