
Ms. Elysse Beasley is a National Certified Counselor and Senior Psychological Examiner and Health Service Provider. She counsels people of all ages using the latest and most accepted individual and family techniques. Ms. Beasley provides expertise in the areas of mood, anxiety, adjustment, personality, and eating disorders, as well as in disorders usually first diagnosed in childhood or adolescence. Ms. Beasley has helped individuals to help themselves to a more satisfying and rewarding life for the past 12 years in Rutherford, Wilson, Cannon and Davidson Counties.
Ms. Beasley graduated from Tulane University with a Bachelor of Science degree with honors in Psychology in 1974. She holds both a Master of Arts degree in Special Education from Peabody College and a Master of Arts degree in Clinical Psychology from Middle Tennessee State University. Her study, "Forgetting Rates of the Mentally Retarded and Non Retarded in Memory for Objects and Memory for Faces," was published in the Journal of Psychology.
Ms. Beasley welcomes opportunities to share her insight and expertise by speaking to groups of people about how to feel better and lead more confident, meaningful lives. For parents of teen-agers, she tailors her workshops to meet their specific needs. She is an Employee Assistance Program (EAP) provider for employees of the Nissan and Ingram Companies, Middle Tennessee State University and St. Thomas Hospital.
